District I: Allatoona, Greater Rome, Northwest Georgia, Foothills Sherry Lowe-Cooke Sherry’s home chapter is Allatoona SHRM were she is a founding member. She has served as President-Elect, President, Industry Certification Coordinator, and Legislative Affairs CLA Director. She is the founder and CEO of COACHNWORKS, LLC, a Human Resource Coaching, and Consulting firm. Sherry looks forward to mentoring new leaders who are interested in seeing their chapters grow, ensuring their members have the opportunity to learn from some of the best speakers in the area about the HR profession, as well as becoming more engaged with their State Council and our National organization. |

District II: Atlanta, Athens, Greater Henry County Teela Jackson teelajackson@talentconnections.net Teela’s home chapter is SHRM Atlanta. She has been a volunteer leader with SHRM Atlanta for over thirteen years including serving as President. She was recognized as the 2010 SHRM GA Volunteer of the Year (Georgia Peach Award) as well as Atlanta’s 40 Under 40. She is the Vice President of Talent Delivery at Talent Connections. Teela desires to continue to help shape the future of HR in Georgia as a way to “pay it forward” in response to those who have helped shape her career. She looks forward to working with SHRM chapters to help ensure HR remains a profession of choice. |

District III: Columbus Area, West Georgia, Southwest Georgia, Thomasville Casey Chesser JGiddings@strategichrpartners.com Judy is a member of three SHRM chapters in Georgia, Columbus SHRM Area West GA SHRM (LaGrange) and SW Georgia (Albany). She has served as SHRM Columbus Past President, Treasurer and currently serve as Vice Chair of the Membership Committee. Judy is the VP of HR Business Development for Strategic HR Partners. She is also an instructor for the SHRM/HRCI certification prep course semi-annually which ultimately steers course attendees into membership of our local chapter – growing the chapter and advancing the profession – a win,win! |
